College for Creative Studies Youth Programs
The College for Creative Studies’s art and design programs motivate, stimulate and guide emerging artists and designers toward their creative future. Our programs and courses are designed to give you the chance to experience a college-level classroom, where you will learn to creatively solve visual problems.For ages 14 — 18, take the opportunity to work in CCS’s renowned facilities with talented faculty and explore your medium of choice in depth. You will strengthen your skills as an artist and create work that will add to your portfolio.
With week-long camps for photography and Photoshop, character animation and automotive design, shoe design, glass blowing and street art camps for teens ages 14-plus, there is something for every student. And, they don’t need any experience in their area of interest prior to attending camp.

CMU Fashion Camp
A week-long camp for high school students entering grades nine through 12, Fashion Camp is seeking aspiring fashion designers and creators. During June, students will put on a fashion show, collaborate with professionals, work with CMU students and get to know CMU's Fashion Merchandising and Design facilities on campus.
Pontiac Creative Arts Center
The mission of the Pontiac Creative Arts Center is to develop and provide programs to enhance the artistic talents and visions of our students. We achieve these goals by continually revising our curriculum to meet the needs of our students.
We have worked to develop an environment that assures personal and professional growth through the many programs offered. We encourage this growth through our classes and workshops. All of our courses are taught by credentialed faculty in an environment that encourages free expression, leadership and responsible decision making.

Paint Creek Center for the Arts
The art classes at PCCA are a great way to not only nurture your creative self, but to have fun while doing so. From first timer to advanced, PCCA is a place for aspiring and experienced artists to learn through painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, multi-media and more! Our studio art classes are available for all ages, and run Mondays-Saturdays during the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
Motion Picture Institute
Our high school film and acting camps are jam-packed with excitement. Students in both camps are working hands-on in our studios with our equipment while they collaborate on a short film to be featured on the big screen at a real movie theater. We have classes in film and acting.
Cranbrook Art Program
Design, sketch, build, invent – CREATE CAMPS (grades K-9) are for making! Camps are held in the Cranbrook Academy of Art studios with multiple visits to the Art Museum each week to explore contemporary and traditional art and design processes. Campers discover hands-on activities in the studio, and learn collaborative problem solving through observation and creation, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Creativity and self-expression are encouraged!
Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp
Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, a summer school of the arts located on a 1,600 acre campus in West Michigan's Manistee National Forest, offers fine arts education for all ages. Each summer, its principal camp program serves more than 5,400 gifted elementary, junior high, and high school students with two-week programs in music, dance, art, and drama while offering more than 175 performances during its Summer Arts Festival.
Interlochen Arts Camp
Interlochen was founded in 1928 and is located in beautiful northwest lower Michigan. Each year, thousands of artists and arts patrons come to Interlochen to experience world-class educational and cultural opportunities. Students study music, theatre, visual arts, film, creative writing and dance, guided by an outstanding faculty and guest artists, and inspired by the scenic beauty of our campus.
